Marcia
Sandford discovered her love for performing about age 10 when she
and her sister Tutti would stand for hours in front of the mirror and
sing. They still love harmonizing and “wowing” audiences every chance
they get. Marcia continued singing in high school chorus, pageants, and
community theater till moving to Atlanta in 1973. There she began
working clubs and theater, and tried her hand at composing. Marcia and
co-writer Karen Mills didn’t take Nashville by storm, but did get
one song on Billboard’s top 100 charted Country singles; and, had a lot
of laughs pitching songs in Nashville!

| Marcia and Doug crossed paths in 1985 when Doug did the arrangement for one of their soon-to-be hits. Doug and Marcia have been friends and collaborators ever since; performing at weddings, country clubs, and corporate events. Doug produced Marcia’s first CD last year, a gift for her father, which won rave reviews from all her friends and relatives… a complete sell out! | |
| When she's not singing her little heart out, Marcia tends to business in her consignment furniture store, Sensibly Chic, in downtown Duluth, GA. |
