Dixie Smith was born into a singing family, and one of her earliest and fondest memories is singing for a crowd at the University of Oklahoma. She sang her way through school, and had a great summer job performing at an amusement park in Florida. Dixie sang with the Alexandria Society of Performing Arts, in Alexandria, Virginia. She attended Jacksonville University, in Jacksonville, Florida on a voice scholarship and graduated from Valdosta State University. |
| Dixie has been singing in the Atlanta area for several years. After having lost her voice for over a decade, she discovered it again and has been singing locally at churches, festivals, fairs, private parties, and weddings. She created a popular women's trio, Full Circle, and released a cd. | |
| Dixie loves to share Spirit through her gift of song! She is currently working on material for a solo cd, choosing songs that are meaningful to her as well as writing original lyrics. | |
| Dixie has a wonderful family, including her husband, David Smith, a magician and stage hypnotist, five wonderful children and a new grandson! |
