A new songwriting team is
born! When he, Marcia and Connie got together one of the first really hot summer afternoons in June, 2005- he hummed the tune, gave a few basic lyrical guidelines, and in about 3 1/2 hours, the title song was roughed in and the rest is history! |

This was truly a wonderful collaboration between three people that worked very well together. We met and wrote this piece with relative ease. I knew both Connie and Marcia and, though they had not ever met, thought it would be a great musical match. And it was. Connie and Marcia took my basic ideas and helped me shape and mold them into a (I believe) wonderful new Christmas song! We need those every year! Connie's voice heralds in the holiday season with all the anticipation of family, food and friends. Marcia adds support to the background vocals, too. We copyrighted the song and now are joined together for eternity as the writers of what we hope becomes another Christmas classic that some piano player will have to play for private parties each holiday season. I truly hope all enjoy our labor of love! |
