After the dramatic conclusion of CAROL OF THE BELLS, which also features the lovely voice of Dana, it feels great to hear this wonderful, simply transparent arrangement of the classic Christmas favorite.

Mike Stewart added guitar to the project AFTER Dana and I had already recorded this track.   Because I have such beautiful "samples" which I use to create tracks, I just picked a 12-string setting and played the "guitar" part on my keyboard.   Because I've always "rolled" chords when I play (because my fingers are a bit short), the strumming sound of the guitar shines through quite often in this song. 

Dana is the star of the song, though.   She has one of the most charmingly easy to listen to voices I've ever heard.   We worked together for several years at UNITY CHRIST CENTER in Suwanee, GA.   She was always there for me during my years as the MUSIC DIRECTOR.   Upon my retirement (December 2004) she stepped up and easily filled my shoes.   She has such musicianship and expression, I just marvel at her talent.    Relax and enjoy three verses of the song in this rendition, which she has performed for nearly 30 years for friends, family and church congregants everywhere.   It's a blessing to have Dana's beautiful voice on my CD and her friendship in my life!
