Judith Baker sings the wonderful song of hope for eternal life brought by the arrival of Jesus Christ, on Christmas day.   Her gospel background vocals sound like a choir of angels helping herald the birth of the King.

This project was crammed into a three and 1/2 month time period to get all the tracks arranged and recorded before the week of final mixing started.   Judith was always going to be the last track for the project.   And, true to form, I was literally arranging her track as she drove here from Nashville (her new home).    When she arrived, we looked at each other, shrugged our shoulders, and went about working up the arrangement that you hear on the track.  

Judith has a lovely solo voice, but she really amazes me when she does her background singing.   There is this miraculous transition into sounding like other singers when her voice is stacked in "the train" sound that is almost signature for her style.   So, as the second artist to do all the vocals on her track (Todd being the first- track one) she showcases her abilities on the song about heralding the birth of Jesus Christ.

Being that this song will also be used on her forthcoming Christmas CD in 2006: GLORIA, we have included the bible verse: John 3:16 as part of the end of the song.  It really supports the hopeful meaning of this song for the hope of "Glory".   God bless you as you listen.   God Bless Judith for being part of my project!
